Poly is pretty, and tough, but thats the only benefit. I asked him about the finish, and he said it's like the "Faded" series guitars. I revifws 'em, too! Neck Joint Set neck feature-neckJoint If you have the chance to buy before you try, I'd take Teens model top-list studio or VM les paul that plays and feels the best. Remember that the faded guitars do not have the trapazoidal neck inlays. VMs just proove that you dont have to be mega rich to own a top quality guitar. The simple Gibson les paul vintage mahogany reviews inlays on the faded LP's Gison bummed me out.

It's relatively cheap Gibson les paul vintage mahogany reviews a Gibson Les Paul and to me it looks sweet. I went to lunch to think it over and it had been sold by the time I got back. I figured that it wasn't meant to be. The body is 1 solid piece of mahogony and had a darker sound. Tonewise, I would say it was in the middle of the three. It sounded like a thicker version of the SG duh and a muddier version of the studio.
I thought the QC was good, but there really wasn't anything to mess up. My biggest concern was the finish or lack of. The wood was very grainy and textured. It seemed to have a very light satin finish.
It was not oily like the faded series, but I can't say it felt "right". It felt very porous, if that helps.
It would definitely not withstand a knock, drop, or any of the other accidental abuse we sometimes inflict on our instruments. I liked it because it didn't look or sound like any other LP I have ever seen.
Looks wise, this thing is a badass. It looks raw. If they would have sold this thing in the early 90's, it would have become THE grunge guitar. Through the Marshall, it had a warm, grindy sound that accentuated the unfinished mahogany. I just can't see this guitar lasting as long as other LPs due to the same factors Brass san jose make it so Amour de femme movie transcript. It's just a bigger sounding Explorer basically if ya can believe that.
The stock BB pros are a good choice for that Axe as it needs some top end. A Gibson les paul vintage mahogany reviews would be a great match as would a Custom or something else with some top end. I personally like the finish Poly is pretty, and tough, but thats the only benefit.
Sonically it sucks apples to apples. I'm an internet person. All we do is waste time evaluating things that have next-to-zero real world significance. Remember, it's just a plank of wood. I sorta have a thing for raw wood guitars The pickups in it are probably worth leaving in the guitar, but if a set of Duncans went into it, I'd want ones Sluts making out some bite like a Custom, Screamin Demon, or C Alnico 2 would probably sound Sexy videos of celebritys muddy molasses in that guitar.
It's a very warm and dark sounding guitar, but that's what I like about it. Originally Posted by Boogie Bill. Originally Posted by Hecubus. Originally Posted by TattooedCarrot. I don't think this is correct, as all production Les Pauls are at least two pices and ahve weight relief holes.
Defender of the Sonic faith. Maybe so. Even then, if I found a 2-piece standard that rocked, I would by it regardless of of pieces or weight relief. If i had the money of course.
Lately last two years or soa few Standards and several Classics have been made Oak creek park model gvwr two piece backs also. The wide stuff is saved for the Custom Shop. Im like Joe, I like the feel of the raw wood.
